Chuck is recognized as a senior executive who has the ability to effect change and create value under adverse circumstances with an infectious caliber of confidence and persistence. Chuck graduated with a Bachelor of Industrial Administration degree from Kettering University and achieved a Masters of Business in Finance from Michigan State University. In addition to his forte in Information Technology, Operations and Finance, Chuck became an accredited Certified Public Accountant after graduate studies in Accounting and Taxation at the University of Texas.
Chuck began his career spending ten-years with General Motors where he became intimately familiar with all aspects of production processes and learned to function effectively in a union environment. He then migrated his experience and skills to Datapoint Corporation where he served as Director of Accounting for the Customer Service Division.
After Datapoint, Chuck was recruited by the New England Newspaper Group (a division of Capital Cities/ABC) to be their CFO. At that time, the New England Group was a conglomeration of six publishing companies located throughout New England. In 1992, Chuck was recruited by Miller Freeman, a $250M trade publishing and trade shows company as Controller to rebuild their accounting systems and organization. As part of the solution he devised, Chuck became familiar with, and implemented Oracle's accounting systems. As a result of his association with Oracle, Chuck was recruited and began a successful career with Oracle Consulting in 1995. He rose to the position of Senior Practice Director where he supported the organization through improvements in Practice and Project Management.
In 2004 Chuck moved to Blackfoot as a founding member and VP of Technology and Consulting. This organization provided advanced analytics and reporting to advertising agencies and large advertisers. Chuck had responsibility for all aspects of the company except sales and was directly responsible for implementing the analytics platform. The company was successfully sold to MediaBank in 2007.
Since 2008, Chuck has engaged in a variety of turnaround, startup and other mission-critical engagements. He is passionate about the use of Operations Audits as a tool to increase value. He is also passionate about Leadership and its importance in increasing and sustaining value. Chuck resides in Scottsdale, AZ where he is involved in collecting Native American Art and canine rescue through National Airedale Rescue.
